Who Am I…

I’m a 29 year old guy who was born in Smithtown NY and grew up in Central NJ currently residing in Central NJ. My professional background includes over 4 years in the retail merchandising/detailing field as well as 3 years in SMM, SMO and interactive marketing in the music industry. I currently am working as Marketing Communications Specialist – Internet for a well known brand with a focus on branding, awareness, SEO, PPC, SEM, brand measurement and social computing. My inspirations are music, creatives and intelligent outside the box types who enjoy collaborative thinking and creative problem solving. My passion is in social media but I would like to see that term done away with as interactive marketing becomes more mainstream. I am a student of the internet. In my spare time I enjoy going to concerts, finding new restaurants, playing rock band, watching MMA, playing paintball, traveling, photography, spending time online keeping in touch with old and new friends, discovering people who are brilliantly talented who I can learn from, searching new web technologies & applications that enable me to connect in the most relevant synchronized ways possible and researching things relevant to whatever it is I might be working on at the time. I am blessed to share it all with my awesome and inspiring girlfriend. I have a cat who I love more than most people. I have a few really great friends in my life that I’ve known since high school and middle school who I am glad to know truly understand me.
